Worcester County Development Gala 2015 Information

Dear Parents & Swimmers
 
Worcerster County SA are holding their annual Development Meet on 20thSeptember 2015 at Wolverhampton. The gala is aimed at those swimmers trying to achieve 2016 county qualifying times in all 50m and 100m events. We would like to take a large group of swimmers up to Wolverhampton for this gala and are encouraging anyone from Training Groups 1 – 3 who is 9 or over on the 20thSeptember to enter. This is a great opportunity for our younger members, who have perhaps not competed outside of club gala events before, to have their first taste of inter-club competition.

All the relevant entry information is attached, including the qualifying times. Please note that these are actually 'cut-off times' meaning you should only enter that event if your pb is slower than the time published. Entries must be in to either myself or Tom by 19th August at the latest, but preferably before the summer break to allow us more time to process them.

Please can I remind all members that we are a competitive swimming club and this is exactly the kind of event our younger swimmers should be entering. They will gain a tremendous amount of experience from taking part and will feel a great sense of achievement by doing so.
